6-Month Community Impact Report

For far too long, Coulsdon has been left behind—seen as a “safe vote” area with little investment in community wellbeing. With youth clubs closing, local businesses shuttering, and essential services disappearing, we couldn’t wait for others to act. So we stepped up.

Over 2,150 local residents supported through free or low-cost community-led wellbeing programmes in just the last 6 months.

Here's what we’ve delivered:

  • 🧘 96 yoga sessions held (4 classes/week), reaching over 480 attendees
  • 🎨 30+ art & mindfulness sessions, including our new Open Air Art Class, with 350+ places filled
  • 🌱 Gardening workshops at The Hive, promoting sustainability and hands-on mental wellbeing
  • 🧺 Hanging Basket Workshop encouraging community greening and connection
  • 💪 Strength & Stillness class – weekly until end of September, supporting 120+ residents
  • 💷 £40,000+ in external funding secured to expand and sustain our programmes
  • 🎯 Fees kept up to 75% lower than private class prices
  • 💚 93% reported improved mental wellbeing; 88% improved physical health

We’re not here to place blame.

We’re here to do the work. To rebuild support networks. To create access to physical and mental wellbeing for every generation in Coulsdon. And to prove that when people come together, things change for the better
