The Hive is a community garden located in the heart of Coulsdon High Street, behind Coulsdon Library. It's a place where local residents can come together and enjoy a beautiful outdoor space, learn about gardening and enjoy some fresh air.

The Hive has accomplished so much, thanks to the dedication of our volunteers and support from the local community. We've had over 40 registered volunteers, with 10-15 regular Saturday workers who have put in countless hours of hard work to make the garden a beautiful space for all to enjoy.

The garden has undergone numerous landscaping changes. We've salvaged numerous plants and adopted many more donations thanks to the brilliant community of Coulsdon. We've also been involved in community events, which are great fun and bring the community together.

We couldn't have accomplished all this without the generous support of local businesses and community support. We'd like to give a huge shoutout to Dobbies Garden Centre for their generous donations of plants, equipment and compost and a massive thank you to our chief volunteer fundraiser for securing invaluable funding.

But our work is not done yet! We have big plans for the future and would love your support. We have tonnes of donation offers and partnership suggestions with local businesses, charities and group and we're always looking for more volunteers to join us.

So, if you're looking for a way to give back to your community and make a real difference, we'd love for you to get involved with The Hive. Whether you're a business looking to donate or a resident looking to volunteer, there's a place for you at The Hive.

If you’re not able to donate or volunteer, you can still help by spreading the word and encouraging others to support our cause. Together, we can create a beautiful, sustainable community garden that everyone can enjoy.

To get involved, email thehivecoulsdon@gmail.com for follow us on Facebook. Let's make a difference in our community, one plant at a time!
